Corrections Volunteer

Details:

Attend the A.A. meetings in jails and prisons. Represent the district at the meetings.

Requirements:

Requirments vary with the institution. Minimum 1 year sobriety. Not on a visiting list or have friends or family at the institution. Pass and NCYC check. Provide a history of any criminal activity. Some institutions require attending an orientation prior to attending. Some may require a minimum commitment of a year. Must be cleared by the district corrections chairl.
